Who we are

Yooralla Youth Ministries Australia is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian Youth Ministry. We work with local church communities and other organisations both in Australia and overseas to improve the present conditions of people through physical assisatance, emotional improvement and spiritual reconciliation with God. Yooralla's journey started in late 1996 with a small team of friends committed to one thing above all else:-

Impacting lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ by our actions, our love for others, in our compassion for the lost and also in our words. (see Matthew 28:19-20)


What we do

* We work with local church communities to identify the needs of young people and to develop relevant and effective long term youth ministries. To empower young people to grow and develop ministry which reaches out to their friends and all others.
* We provide ministry opportunities for young people (through their local churches where possible) by facilitating and leading short-term mission trips. These trips develop in young people a heart for mission both in their own community and elsewhere. They learn skills and grow in their understanding of different cultures in Australia and overseas. Yooralla aims to work with church and missionary organisations in other countries, undertaking practical projects which improve the physical conditions of people. Our aim is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to ALL people through our action, care, love and word.

* We develop young leaders with a heart and passion for mission in the local church and elsewhere. We do this by training young people in all aspects of mission trips; providing internships ( A 1-2 year training program while doing an acredited Youth or Mission Course) and by running traineeships ( An 18 mth course which combines 2 short term mission trips with monthly training to equip aspiring servant leaders).

* We are committed to the relational, spiritual and financial support of In-field Saints both in Australia and overseas.
