Training with Yooralla

Our Vision promotes strongly the value of training young Australian people in order that they might serve their generation. We are committed to the ministry of identifying, equipping and supporting servant leaders here in Australia that they may impact our nation and the nations beyond.
General Training for Short Term Mission Trips

In preparation for each Yooralla Short term Mission trip there is an element of training. This training may include Orientation to Culture, teaching on servanthood and may touch on issues such as Re-entry and Culture Shock. Included during each mission trip are times of teaching that bring biblical understanding and encouragement.
Training and Consultation for Local Church Youth Ministries

In line with the aim of serving local churches and their youth ministries Yooralla offers training and consultation in Youth ministry and Mission, Leadership development and Discipleship. This training is tailored by experienced leaders specifically to suit your church and ministries needs.
Yooralla Internships

Our internship program offers young Australians a place to learn in a safe environment with supervision from experienced leaders. Each internship is designed around the individual in order that they may explore and learn within their personal call and passion.

The Yooralla Institute

The Yooralla Institute has been recently established as the training arm of Yooralla Youth Ministries Australia Inc. This Institute is registered through localnet, a ministry of acom (australian college of ministries).

Yooralla's training embraces

  • The development of each person's individual giftedness and calling.
  • The Servant leadership model of Jesus.
  • Team work with churches, other youth ministries, Mission Organisations and Christian Educational Colleges to provide relevant learning opportunities.
  • The multiplication of young leaders who impart teaching, coaching and mentoring to other young leaders.
  • The journey of faith and discovery for young leaders as they pursue their dreams. We recognise the process of learning and the importance of mature leaders who can walk alongside young people inputting experience, sharing wisdom and creating safe places of growth.
